Pankaj Tripathi to bring former Indian PM to the big screen

Mumbai: Actor Pankaj Tripathi is all set to portray the role of former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the upcoming biopic “Main Atal Hoon.” The versatile actor shared a video on his Instagram handle, announcing his new project and expressing his excitement for playing the iconic leader.

Tripathi expressed his gratitude towards the filmmakers for giving him the opportunity to play the role of such a renowned personality. The biopic will focus on the life of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, his journey from a student leader to becoming the Prime Minister of India thrice.

The actor also mentioned that this role is a big responsibility for him, and he will give his best to do justice to the character. The biopic is being produced by Sunil Bohra, who has produced films like Gangs of Wasseypur, and is directed by debutant director, Ashish Pandey.

This project is expected to be one of the biggest biopics of the year, and fans are eagerly waiting to see Pankaj Tripathi’s portrayal of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The film’s release date is yet to be announced.
