Lok Sabha elections: EC to put in GPS monitoring system in automobiles used for polls

The Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi coalition on Tuesday introduced its seat sharing method for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The NCP (SP) will contest on 10 seats, Congress 17 seats and Shiv Sena (UBT) on 21 seats. The seat sharing plan was introduced by NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray and state Congress president Nana Patole.

The UBT faction of Shiv Sena will contest from Sangli seat that Congress wished. Wrestler Chandrahar Patil is Sena (UBT)’s candidate from Sangli. Speaking to the media Sanjay Raut mentioned Shiv Sena (UBT) has given Ramtek and Amravati seats to the Congress. He mentioned so far as Sangli is anxious, employees from western Maharshtra wished to contest the seat. They determined to trade the Kolhapur seat with Congress.

The Shiv Sena (UBT) introduced its candidate after seat sharing deliberations at a better degree. He mentioned regardless of the sentiments of the Congress they may settle down in a few days. The Sharad Pawar faction of the NCP will contest Bhiwandi constituency. Lok Sabha elections for Maharashtra’s 48 seats might be held in 5 phases between April 19 and Could 20 and the counting of votes goes to happen on June 4.

Sharad Pawar of NCP(SP) mentioned there are not any variations on any seat. He mentioned that they had declared the seat sharing after mutual settlement. Record of Shiv Sena (UBT) seats are Jalgaon, Parbhani, Nashik, Palghar, Kalyan, Thane, Raigad, Maval, Osmanabad, Aurangabad, Ratnagiri, Buldhana, Hatkanangale, Shirdi, Sangli, Hingoli, Yavatmal, Washim, Mumbai North West, Mumbai South Central, Mumbai South and Mumbai North East .

Record of Congress seats are Nandurbar,Dhule, Akola, Amravati, Nagpur, Bhandara-Gondia, Gadchiroli-Chimur, Chandrapur, Nanded, Jalna, Pune, Latur, Solapur, Kolhapur, Ramtek, Mumbai North , Mumbai Noth Central. Record of NCP (SP) seats are Baramati, Shirur, Satara, Bhiwandi, Dindori, Madha, Raver, Wardha, Ahmednagar and Beed.
