BJP releases tenth candidate checklist of seven seats in Uttar Pradesh, 1 seat every in Chandigarh and West Bengal for Lok Sabha elections

The Bharatiya Janata Social gathering on Wednesday launched its 10th candidate checklist for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Within the checklist, BJP has introduced names of 9 candidates, 7 in Uttar Pradesh, 1 every in West Bengal and Chandigarh. BJP dropped sitting MP Kirron Kher from Chandigarh who was changed by Sanjay Tandon in her place. Former Union Minister SS Ahluwalia has been given ticket from West Bengal’s Asansol instead of Bhojpuri singer Pawan Singh.

BJP has given a ticket to Neeraj Shekhar, son of former Prime Minister Chandrashekhar, from the Balia Lok Sabha seat. Jaiveer Singh is contesting in opposition to Dimple Yadav from Mainpuri constituency for BJP in Uttar Pradesh.

Bhojpuri singer Pawan Singh, who had initially withdrawn his candidacy from Asansol, had introduced that he’ll contest elections. He made his intentions clear and took to X to specific his want to contest the elections, searching for the assist and blessings of the folks. In a put up on X, Singh wrote that he’ll contest elections to satisfy the promise made to the general public. Singh mentioned he’ll contest 2024 Lok Sabha election from Karakat, Bihar however he didn’t identify the political occasion below which he’ll contest the elections.

Ghazipur: Paras Nath Rai

Machhlishahr (SC): B.P. Saroj

Ballia: Neeraj Shekhar

Allahabad: Neeraj Tripathi

Phulpur: Praveen Patel

Kaushambi (SC): Vinod Sonkar

Mainpuri: Jaiveer Singh Thakur

West Bengal

Asansol: SS Ahluwalia

Chandigarh: Sanjay Tandon

The voting will begin on April 19 and the outcomes can be declared on June 4, 2024. The time period of the seventeenth Lok Sabha meeting will finish on June 16, 2024. The elections can be held in seven phases. The first section to be held on April 19, 2nd section on April 26, third section on Could 7, the 4th section on Could 13, fifth section on Could 20, sixth section on Could 25 and the seventh section on June 1, 2024.
