5 detained in Hyderabad hit-and-run case

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad Police have detained 5 youth together with a girl for Wednesday’s hit-and-run case during which a bouncer was killed and one other injured.

A model new automobile with momentary registration, concerned within the accident, was dropped at SR Nagar police station.

Police are more likely to reveal the main points of the case later within the day.

The incident had occurred close to Peddamma temple in upscale Jubilee Hills early Wednesday when a automobile rammed into a bike.

Tarak Ram (30), working as a bouncer at a star lodge in Madhapur, was returning house with a colleague on the bike early morning when the dashing automobile hit them on the temple arch.

The automobile sped away after hitting the two-wheeler. Tarak Ram, who sustained head accidents, died on the spot whereas one other bouncer Raju was critically injured. He was shifted to a hospital.

The household of Tarak Ram on Wednesday evening staged a protest alongside together with his lifeless physique at Jubilee Hills police station, demanding arrest of these concerned.

A resident of Sikh Village in Secunderabad, Tarak Ram had married two years in the past and has a seven-month-old youngster. He was the only real breadwinner for the household together with his widowed mom.

Police scanned the CCTV footage of the incident, recognized the automobile and zeroed in on those that had been travelling within the automobile.
