Vyjayantimala Bali conferred Padma Vibhushan

CHENNAI: Famous actor and dancer Vyjayantimala Bali was conferred Padma Vibhushan, the second highest civilian order of the nation, on the event of Republic Day 2024.

Born on August 13, 1933, she has acted in a number of iconic motion pictures and received 5 Filmfare awards. She made her debut in tinsel world on the age of 16 in Tamil film “Vaazhkai” in 1949 and made her debut within the Hindi movies “Bahar: in 1951.
