New Delhi: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli is on the verge of a major milestone in the Indian Premier League (IPL) as he needs just 12 runs to become the first player in the tournament’s history to score 7,000 runs.

RCB is scheduled to play their next match against Punjab Kings on May 6, 2023, in Ahmedabad. Kohli will be eyeing the milestone in this match and will look to continue his good form with the bat.

Kohli has been in good form in the ongoing IPL season, scoring 231 runs in six matches at an average of 46.20 and a strike rate of 133.72. He has scored two half-centuries so far and will be looking to convert them into big scores in the upcoming matches.
