Amritsar: In a recent development, the Spring Dale School in Amritsar received a bomb threat on social media. The threat came in the form of a message that was uploaded on Monday evening, which read that there would be a blast at the school on September 16. This comes just four days after the DAV Public School in the same area received a similar threat, which later turned out to be a hoax made by three students of the school.

In light of the threat, the school promptly informed the police, who have taken swift action and put in place heavy security arrangements both inside and outside the school. The school authorities issued a statement saying that they took the threat very seriously and informed the police to ensure the safety and security of all students and staff members at the school.

The police have informed the school management that the situation is under control and that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure the safety and security of the school. An FIR (First Information Report) has been lodged and the matter is currently being investigated by the authorities.
