Mumbai: Punjabi singer and actor Parmish Verma has finally addressed the intense online speculation surrounding his personal life. In a recent statement, Parmish confirmed that he is divorced and revealed that there is currently a woman in his life.
His comments come amid weeks of social media speculation surrounding his alleged relationship with actress and model Harman Brar and accusations that he was unfaithful to his former wife, Geet Grewal.

Addressing the criticism surrounding his personal life, Parmish said he had become an easy target because of the perception that a man is automatically made the villain when a relationship ends.
He wrote that being a man can make someone a “convenient psychological scapegoat,” adding that people often simplify complicated situations and blame one side.
“I understand the psychology of it, and I accept the burden without resentment,” Parmish said.

Parmish also opened up about the difficult phase he went through following the breakdown of his marriage.
“When I was drowning, nobody came to save me. I dealt with my own consequences, carried my own pain, and learned to stand again. That, too, is being a man,” he wrote.
His comments appeared to be a direct reference to the criticism he has faced online over his personal relationships.
‘There Is a Woman in My Life Today’
Parmish’s statement also appeared to confirm that he is no longer married to Geet Grewal.
While discussing his present relationship status, he said he believes in respecting both his former wife and the woman who is currently in his life.
“So is having the discipline to respect my ex-wife, respect the woman in my life today, and never confuse bitterness with masculinity,” he said.

Parmish added that he would rather be disliked for standing by his principles than receive praise by following the crowd.
“I know what I am. I would rather be hated for standing upright than applauded for crawling with the crowd. I’m proud of the man I became,” he said.

Parmish Verma and Geet Grewal got married in October 2021 after being in a relationship for several years. Their wedding was celebrated as a grand Punjabi ceremony.
