Maroof Khan hails from Srinagar, J&K. He Belongs from the Top Bureaucratic family of J&K. Being the Social Activist he is right now pursing Bachelor’s in Law from University of Kashmir and he has made it to the list among most Influential Personalities of 2020 and is a Renowned Personality of J&K has become an inspiration for many who aspire to become a philanthropist like him. He has proven that rendering service doesn’t need a pocket with full of coins but a humane heart which can extend a helping hand and become a cause behind the smile for others. Setting an example of generosity and humbleness, MAROOF KHAN , started an initiative to help the poor and needy in Kashmir in this harsh and brutal winter, many people struggle to put on warm clothes to beat the cold.Observing and taking keen notice, Mr Maroof Khan, strated an initiative to distributed free and fresh clothes and Kangries (Fire pots) to poor and needy ones .Besides this, the said Social Activist , amid the coronavirus pandemic and lockdowns all alone worked like a warrior in his personal capacity to render helping hand by distributing the daily essentials and medicines to the doorstep of needy residents of the valley. He is well known for his achievements in the society. Maroof has actively worked for the eradication of drugs from society and imparting education regarding it. He is keenly interested in solving the problems faced by the people of Conflict hit zone J&K in day to day life and keep working on them legally and tries his best to get them solved from the concerned authorities and his work is always appreciated by Political Leaders and Officers including the top Bureaucrats.
