Mumbai : National Award-winning actor Manoj Bajpayee recently expressed his admiration for director Ram Gopal Varma, saying that Varma’s entry into the Hindi film industry changed the way movies are made. Speaking on a podcast, Bajpayee praised Varma for his films like ‘Satya’, ‘Company’, ‘Shiva’, and ‘Sarkaar’. He said that Varma’s bold and unconventional approach revolutionized Hindi cinema and inspired a whole generation of actors, directors, and technicians. Although he may not always agree with Varma’s views on life and relationships, Bajpayee finds his conversations with the director amusing. Bajpayee also drew parallels between Varma and his ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ director Anurag Kashyap, describing them both as highly unpredictable and child-like filmmakers.
