Mandy Moore feels “elated” after turning 40.

The actress celebrated her landmark birthday on Wednesday (04.10.24), and Mandy has taken to social media to share some behind-the-scenes photographs from her latest birthday bash.

Mandy – who has been married to Taylor Goldsmith since 2018 – wrote on Instagram: “That is 40. Elated to step into this subsequent decade with goal, intention and gratitude for all that it has in retailer.

“As one who doesn’t LOVE events, this birthday referred to as for some form of celebration and @taylordawesgoldsmith actually heeded the decision with an evening of music (I insisted he play just a few) together with our beloved favourite @themikeviola.

“I forgot to take photos however fortunately @cfwein stepped in to seize the night. An enormous thanks to @thehotelcafe for internet hosting us, @themikeviola for indulging my playlist and coming to jam (because of Trev and Griff too) @whoanellycaters for the best eats, @valerieconfctns for desserts that everybody couldn’t cease raving about (the cheesecake stays a strong fav) and @yasminemei with essentially the most unimaginable florals that some have been fortunate sufficient to take dwelling on the finish of the evening. (sic)”

Mandy subsequently revealed that she’s feeling completely satisfied and optimistic in regards to the future.

She wrote: “Yay to reaching the fourth floor- I just like the view from up right here!! [heart emojis] (sic)”

In the meantime, Mandy beforehand described her expertise of motherhood as being “difficult and rewarding”.

The actress – who has Gus, three, and Ozzie, 16 months, along with her husband – defined that motherhood has modified her complete outlook on life.

Mandy advised PEOPLE: “Being a mother has actually made me conscious of how difficult and rewarding motherhood is.
