Ind vs SL: Team India set to surpass Australia’s big record, gave 391 target for the visitors

Team India is playing a three match ODI series against Sri Lanka at home under the captaincy of their regular captain Rohit Sharma. In the first two ODI matches India got unbeatable lead 2-0. Today in the final ODI India won the toss and elected to bat first. After batting first Team India got a tremendous start and Rohit Sharma and Shubhman Gill added 95 runs for the first wicket and captain got out at 42. C Karunaratne took the first wicket for the visitors.

Let us tell you that after Rohit got out in-form Virat came to bat and was seen in explosive mood since the beginning. Gill and Kohli added 131 runs for the second wicket. Shubhman Gill scored a brilliant century here and made 116 runs in just 96 balls with help of 14 fours and 2 sixes. Rajitha took the second wicket for Sri Lanka and India were 226 for the loss of two wickets in 33.4 overs.

After a very explosive start team India continued batting in the same manner and Virat smashed a brilliant century and took the Team India to a total of 390 in the given 50 overs. Indian batters did not spare any Sri Lankan bowlers. Virat Kohli scored his 2nd consecutive century in this game and scored 166 runs in just 110 balls with the help of 13 fours and 8 towering sixes.

At the time of writing the news Sri Lankan team has also begin the chase and they lost their first wicket in just 7 runs. Md Siraj sent Avishka Fernando to pavilion for just 1 run. Sri Lanka made 17 runs for the loss of one Wicket in 3 overs.
