Deoria: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has intensified the political momentum ahead of the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, highlighting his government’s achievements in development, welfare, employment and law and order during a public gathering in Deoria.
The Chief Minister inaugurated and announced development projects worth ₹308 crore during the event. Addressing the gathering, CM Yogi said that the government’s concept of “good governance” is reflected when people receive essential welfare benefits and basic facilities without having to repeatedly demand them.
CM Yogi Highlights Welfare Schemes
Yogi Adityanath highlighted several government initiatives related to food distribution, electricity connections, housing and sanitation.
He said the government has focused on ensuring that welfare schemes reach eligible beneficiaries while improving access to basic services across the state.
9.5 Lakh Government Job Appointment Letters Distributed
Employment generation for young people was another major focus of the Chief Minister’s address.
According to Yogi Adityanath, around 9.5 lakh appointment letters for government jobs have been distributed personally during the stated period of his government.
He also highlighted employment opportunities created through Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and the One District One Product (ODOP) programme.
The Chief Minister claimed that around three crore young people in Uttar Pradesh have benefited from employment opportunities generated through these initiatives.Law and Order and Economic GrowthCM Yogi also emphasised improvements in the state’s security and law-and-order environment.
He linked a stronger security environment with increased economic activity and employment opportunities, arguing that better law and order creates a more favourable atmosphere for businesses, investment and job creation.

The Deoria event comes as political parties begin preparing for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.
Development, welfare delivery, employment and law and order are expected to remain key issues in the electoral contest.
