Bhojpuri Singer Samar Singh Surrenders to Police in Akanksha Dubey Suicide Case

Varanasi: Bhojpuri singer Samar Singh, who was named in the suicide note of Akanksha Dubey, has surrendered before the police in Varanasi on Thursday. Akanksha Dubey, a model and TikTok star, allegedly died by suicide on April 4, 2023, in her apartment in Mumbai, leaving behind a note that named Samar Singh and a few others.

In his statement to the police, Samar Singh claimed that he was innocent and that Akanksha’s allegations were baseless. He said that he was hiding in fear after learning about the suicide note and that he decided to surrender to the police after realizing that he had nothing to do with Akanksha’s death.

“I was hiding here and there in fear after learning about the suicide note. But, I realized that I am innocent and had nothing to do with her death, so I decided to surrender before the police,” Samar Singh said in his statement.

He added that he had a professional relationship with Akanksha Dubey and that they had worked together on a few projects in the past. He said that he was shocked to learn about her death and that he had no idea why she named him in her suicide note.

The police have taken Samar Singh into custody and are currently investigating the case. They are also trying to trace the other people named in the suicide note.

Akanksha Dubey was a popular model and TikTok star with a significant following on social media. Her death has come as a shock to her fans and followers. The police are investigating the case and have urged people not to jump to conclusions before the investigation is completed.
