Putin: G20 Summit not the Priority

According to the Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s presence in the G20 summit, expected to be held next month, is not to be anticipated. The spokesperson also added that in the present situation, a special military operation holds the utmost priority. 

Putin had also not been present in the BRICS summit that occurred recently in South Africa; he had addressed the gathering via a video link. The G20 presidency this year is held by India and from 8th to 10th of September, the G20 summit is to be held in New Delhi. Numerous distinguished guests shall grace the event.
