New Delhi: Priyanka Gandhi, the General Secretary of the Indian National Congress, criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not listening to people’s problems and instead narrating his own experiences. Speaking at a rally in an undisclosed location, Gandhi accused Modi of being out of touch with the concerns of the common people.

Gandhi referred to a recent incident where Modi spoke about his own struggles during his youth, instead of addressing the problems faced by farmers and other marginalized communities. She claimed that this was indicative of Modi’s indifference towards the struggles of the people.

“Modi is the first Prime Minister who narrates his agony to people instead of listening to their woes,” Gandhi said. “He has lost touch with reality and is more interested in promoting himself than addressing the issues that really matter.”

Gandhi’s comments come at a time when the country is grappling with a range of economic and social issues, including rising unemployment, farmer protests, and the COVID-19 pandemic. The Congress party has been critical of the Modi government’s handling of these issues, and has accused them of prioritizing corporate interests over those of the people.

Gandhi urged voters to support the Congress party in the upcoming state and national elections, arguing that they were better equipped to address the concerns of the people. She promised that the party would work towards creating a more equitable and just society, and that they would listen to the grievances of all citizens.

The rally was attended by a large number of Congress supporters, as well as local leaders and candidates. It is part of the party’s ongoing campaign efforts in the lead-up to the elections, as they seek to rally support and challenge the BJP’s hold on power.
