PHAGWARA: A 16 years previous younger woman died on the spot in a tragic mishap on Phillaur—Talwan highway on Friday afternoon. The deceased was recognized as Mandip Kaur resident of Village Mao-Sahib close to Phillaur. The deceased who was working her job at Ludhiana was returning to her village alongwith her colleague Deepak on a motorcycle which collided with one other bike.

Mandip fell down from the bike after collision however was run over by a dashing truck and died. The Truck driver managed to flee leaving the truck behind. The Phillaur Police have registered a case in opposition to the truck driver and impounded the truck.
