Two labourers die in Delhi whereas finishing up building work, ex-MLA’s kin booked

NEW DELHI: Two labourers died whereas finishing up building work on the farm home of the relative of a former Congress MLA from south Delhi’s Chattarpur, an official stated on Saturday.

The incident occurred in Bhati Kalan close to Fatehpur Beri on Thursday.

The deceased had been recognized as Dharminder (35), a resident of Malviya Nagar and Karan Singh (35), a resident of Badaun in Uttar Pradesh.

Based on police, details about two medico-legal instances (MLCs) was obtained on Thursday, at 3:45 p.m, and each Dharminder and Karan had been declared introduced lifeless on the hospital.

Throughout the preliminary probe, the investigation officer of Fatehpur Beri police station visited the spot in Bhati Kalan and located building work was being carried out and sufficient security measures weren’t discovered to be taken there, ” stated a senior police official.

“The autopsy of each the deceased was carried out at a trauma centre and lifeless our bodies have been handed over to their households. A case below related sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered in opposition to the contractor and the proprietor, ” stated the official.
