For the last few days, there is a demand for #Boycott of the films being released in Bollywood.

Movies have also flopped but there was a time when such films were coming in Bollywood whose ticket sales were on record.
Bollywood has been going through a very bad phase for some time now. People are not going to watch movies and there is a demand for boycott of films on social media at some point or the other. Even after a lot of efforts, the audience is not coming to the theaters. The films of top actors of the film industry like #AamirKhan and #AkshayKumar are also not getting the audience. Films of big Bollywood actors are not getting the same audience as small films. Although there have been some Bollywood movies as well.
Who has made records in ticket sales. These films include films like #Sholay, #MughaleAzam, and #MotherIndia.

Mughal-e-Azam :
Classic is Director K Asif’s film ‘Mughal-e-Azam’ is considered one of the best films of Bollywood. It is said that a lot of tickets were sold for this film. According to statistics, more than 10 crore tickets were sold for the film. The film featured the love story of Mughal Shahzade Jahangir i.e. Salim and Anarkali. #DilipKumar and #Madhubala were seen in the lead roles. The film was released in black and white version. Later in 2004 it was released in color version.

Mother India :
The film ‘#MotherIndia’ starring Nargis, Raj Kumar, Rajendra Kumar and Sunil Dutt in the lead roles was nominated in the category of Best International Feature Film at the Oscars. It was the first Indian film to be nominated in this category. The film had sold more than 10 crore tickets.

Naya Daur :
The film ‘Naya Daur’ starring Dilip Kumar and Vyjayanthimala , released in the year 1957, was well-liked. The film was produced & directed by B.R Chopra and is considered one of the most popular films of its era. At that time, more than 7 crore 30 lakh tickets were sold for the film.

Sholay :
Sholay dominated the box office The film ‘Sholay’ starring #AmitabhBachchan and #Dharmendra, released in the year 1975, is still liked by people. The film was initially being called a flop, but after a week, the film went on in such a way that history was made. The film had sold more than 15 crore tickets in theatres.

Dharam-Veer :
This is the film of Manmohan Desai’s career, whose tickets have been sold the most. Apart from #Dharmendra, #Jeetendra, Zeenat Aman and Nitu Singh were in the lead roles in the film. The film was a huge hit in India and sold more than 7 crore 50 lakh tickets. Not only in India, but this film was also well liked in other countries.

Kranti :
The film ‘Kranti’ starring Dilip Kumar, who was called the first superstar of Bollywood, was very much liked. #ManojKumar made this film and also acted in it. Apart from him, actors like Shashi Kapoor, Shatrughan Sinha, Hema Malini, Parveen Babi were in the lead roles in the film. Released in 1981, the film ran in theaters for 67 weeks, out of which the film was housefull for 96 days. The film had sold more than 6 crore tickets.

Amar Akbar Anthony:
This film is also one of the biggest superhit films of Amitabh Bachchan’s career. It starred Vinod Khanna and #RishiKapoor in the lead roles. The story of the film was very much liked. In that period, more than 6 crore 20 lakh tickets were sold for the film.

Coolie :
This film is not counted in any big hit film of Amitabh Bachchan, but during the shooting of this film, Amitabh Bachchan was so injured that it was till his death. Directed by #ManmohanDesai, the film featured a fight scene between Amitabh and Puneet Issar in which Amitabh suffered a grievous injury. Later Amitabh completed the film. Due to Amitabh’s injury, many people came to see this film and 7 crore tickets were sold at the box office.

Hum Aapke Hain Koun :
The magic of the romantic musical film ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’, directed by #SoorajBarjatya, had stunned the audience. This film starring #MadhuriDixit and #SalmanKhan is still the favorite film of many people. Released in 1094, ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’ had sold more than 7 crore 40 lakh tickets at that time.

Gadar :
This is the film as a lead role of #SunnyDeol’s career, whose tickets have been sold the most. Apart from Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel & Amrish Puri were in the film & directed by #AnilSharma film was a huge hit in India and sold more than 6 crore 70 lakh tickets. Not only in India, but this film was also well liked by the people in the Soviet Union of that time.
