SS Rajamouli’s RRR wins big at Hollywood Critics Association Film Awards

Mumbai : RRR, the blockbuster movie directed by SS Rajamouli, has won three major awards at the Hollywood Critics Association Film Awards (HCA). The ceremony took place on Friday evening, and the news was shared by both the HCA’s official Twitter handle and the RRR team’s social media account. The movie, which was released in India in March 2021, won the Best Action Film, Best International Film, Best Stunts, and Best Original Song awards.

SS Rajamouli, the film’s director, received the Best Stunts award at the ceremony and expressed his gratitude to the Hollywood Critics Association for recognizing RRR. During his acceptance speech, he praised his team’s hard work and thanked the choreographers who had come to India to work on the film. Rajamouli also paid tribute to his actors, who performed most of the stunts themselves.

The RRR team’s attendance at the event was well-received by the crowd, who cheered and clapped during Rajamouli’s speech. Meanwhile, the film’s nomination for Best Original Song at the upcoming Oscars has raised expectations among Indian movie enthusiasts, who are hoping for a win that will put India on the global cinema map.
