Singer Kailash Kher Shares His Story of Attempted Suicide and Finding Purpose

New Delhi : In a recent interview, popular singer Kailash Kher shared his story of attempting suicide in his early twenties. The singer spoke of how he felt like a misfit and was failing in life, which led him to jump into the Ganges River at Rishikesh. He was saved by a stranger who scolded him for being unfaithful to life.

Kailash Kher shared that after his business failed, he tried to become a pandit in Rishikesh, but felt out of place and like he was failing in everything. He locked himself in his room and stopped eating, but was saved by a stranger who pulled him out of the river. The singer said that after this experience, he sought to communicate with God and understand the meaning of his existence.

Kailash Kher eventually moved to Mumbai in his thirties to pursue a career in music. He believes that God is behind his success in the industry and the fame he has received.
