In an exclusive interview, Sachin Viddrrohi opens up about his journey from a modest background to carving a niche in the entertainment industry. With an inspiring story of passion, resilience, and hard work, Sachin shares insights into his life, career, and aspirations.
“My name is Sachin Viddrrohi,” he begins, “I come from a middle-class family. My father is a civil engineer, and we also have a farming background. Yes, it may sound unusual, but it’s true!” This blend of two contrasting worlds shaped Sachin’s grounded perspective on life.

Although he spent his childhood immersed in academics, his love for films and television sowed the seeds of his cinematic dreams. “Govinda’s films were my favorite, and I loved watching Shaktimaan and Junior G. During college, I joined the Yakshagna Theatre Society, and that’s where my journey began.”
Sachin recalls his first brush with acting on camera: “I accompanied a friend to an audition at a casting agency in Delhi. The casting person encouraged me to audition as well. While I was confident in theatre, facing the camera was a whole new challenge. I stumbled through it.”
However, fate had other plans. Sachin’s big break came with Flames Season 1. “I watched the first two episodes and wished I was part of it. Days later, I was called to audition. To my surprise, it was for Flames, and the rest is history.”
Among his diverse roles, playing Ajay in MTV Nishedh and Chotu in Dead Dead Full Dead stand out. “Ajay is a small-town man with big dreams, while Chotu is a psycho character. The latter was particularly challenging due to its complexity and the limited time I had to prepare.”
Sachin credits his success to meticulous preparation. “I read the script repeatedly and use techniques like inner monologues to connect with emotionally demanding roles. For physical scenes, my aggression becomes my fuel.”
Life on set has been filled with memorable moments, including an unexpected interruption during the filming of Hisaab Barabar at a railway station. “A real passenger thought we were genuinely fighting and stepped in to stop us!”
Sachin also addresses misconceptions about the industry. “People often think connections are everything. But I’ve achieved everything through auditions and hard work. Connections might open doors, but your talent determines what happens next.”
As a beneficiary of the OTT revolution, Sachin sees it as a game-changer. “OTT has given opportunities to thousands like me. The audience today is smarter and knows what content to appreciate. I believe this evolution will continue, with authentic storytelling taking center stage.”
For those dreaming of a career in acting, Sachin offers heartfelt advice: “Never give up. Have faith, and remember, tables will turn. If you think I can help, reach out—I’m just a text away.”
When he’s not acting, Sachin immerses himself in reading, astrology, and numerology. “I also enjoy making tea for my friends and loved ones. It’s a simple joy that keeps me connected to my roots.”
His long-term personal goals include building a school and hospital in his hometown. “Children have to travel 4-5 kilometers for education, and the nearest good hospital is 100 kilometers away. I want to change that.”
As Sachin continues to push boundaries with challenging roles, he remains focused on his ultimate goal: “I want to contribute meaningfully to cinema and take on roles that test my abilities.”
Sachin is set to star in exciting upcoming projects, including Bada Naam Karenge with Rajshri Productions and MTV Nishedh Season 3.
