Movie Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5 Stars)

While not without its flaws, the film deserves applause for its intent and execution, standing apart from the run-of-the-mill gangster romances or whitewashed narratives that dominated Bollywood from 2000 to 2012.

After such a long time, something worth to watch in Bollywood. Glad I saw it in cinemas only and not waiting for it to come on OTT. After 12th fail, Vikrant Massey has delivered another splendid performance. The movie is not just a historical drama but also filled with action and great performances. Some scenes were disturbing but they were essential to make the story real. In short must watch movie.

Sabarmati Report is an impressive movie where incredible performance is delivered by all the actors. However the light shed by Vikrant Massey is what makes the film challenging as well as touching. His portrayal of a small town man is natural, bringing authenticity to his character. Media has been shown in an honest way, with some facts curated and formed fiction. However, the narrative lacks completion, with several threads left untouched, which makes the story incomplete. A really gripping movie till the last moment. Happy with this movie after a long time as facts overrule fiction here.

Sabarmati Express is an outstanding movie that truly leaves an impact. The acting is exceptional, with every performer delivering their role with depth and conviction. The meticulous research behind the story is evident, bringing authenticity to the narrative. The crisp and engaging writing keeps the audience hooked from start to finish. The direction is precise, ensuring every scene contributes meaningfully to the storyline. The film’s attention to detail, both in terms of storytelling and visual appeal, sets it apart. It’s a cinematic experience that entertains, informs, and provokes thought, making it well worth your time.

Sabarmati Report is a gripping and thought-provoking film that masterfully blends suspense with social relevance. The storytelling is engaging, keeping you hooked till the very end, while the performances are top-notch, bringing depth and authenticity to the characters. The film’s direction and cinematography beautifully capture the mood, making it a visually compelling experience. A must-watch for anyone who enjoys a meaningful thriller that leaves you reflecting long after the credits roll!.

The Sabarmati Report is a gripping and thought-provoking film. Vikrant Massey delivers a standout performance, bringing depth and authenticity to his character. The direction is sharp, and the screenplay keeps you engaged throughout. With its emotional storytelling and historical relevance, this film is definitely worth watching.

Positives: The first 30 minutes of Sabarmati Report are fast-paced, thrilling, and incredibly engaging. The story unfolds with a gripping intensity that hooks you from the start. The script delves into themes Bollywood rarely explored a decade ago, offering a refreshing departure from predictable formulas. The lead performances by Vikrant Massey, Ridhi Dogra, and Rashi Khanna are remarkable, showcasing their versatility and commitment to the story.

Drawbacks: That said, the film does falter in parts. The screenplay slows down unnecessarily in the middle, with some elements feeling out of place. A tighter narrative could have elevated the overall experience. However, the flaws don’t overshadow the film’s intent and courage to tackle sensitive subject matter head-on.

Addressing the Noise: It’s clear that Sabarmati Report has sparked polarized opinions, as evidenced by the 1-star ratings filled with cries of “propaganda.” A closer look reveals that many of these reviewers likely didn’t even watch the film. The movie is far from perfect, but dismissing it outright as propaganda undermines the effort and the conversation it seeks to start.

Final Thoughts: Sabarmati Report isn’t the best film you’ll watch this year, but it’s far from the worst. It’s an earnest attempt to tell a story that Bollywood hasn’t dared to touch in years. Whether you agree with the makers’ perspective or not, the courage to explore such narratives deserves recognition. If you’re looking for a film that challenges Bollywood’s conventions and sparks debate, Sabarmati Report is worth your time.
