Russian Shelling continues in Varied Ukrainian regions

The hospitalization of two people was preceded by a 3.5 hour drone attack by Russia in Odessa region’s port infrastructure, Ukraine, as per officials.

It is only one day prior to Putin’s meeting with Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, that this attack is observed. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss matters regarding the revival of food exports from Ukraine under the consensus of Black Sea grain that Moscow discontinued following in July. 

The Ukrainian forces also took to telegram and revealed that around dawn on Sunday, firing noises were heard akin the Danube river, where Russians attacked 25 Iranian-made Shahed drones; the former successfully shot down 22 of them.

The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed his belief that the ulterior motive of Russian firing was to beget food crisis and hunger in the world. While Moscow decided to not comment.

Two deaths and injuries each have also been noted in the village of Vuldehar in Donetsk area after Russian shelling. The Ukrainian police also shared on Telegram that eight settlements across the region were hit owing to the artillery fire.

An announcement was also made by the Ukrainian prosecutors on Sunday saying that they had opened a war crimes investigation following the death of a police officer owing to Russian shelling in the town of Seredina-Buda on Saturday afternoon.

Three injuries, two police personnels and one civilian, was also noted in the north-east Sumy area.
