Sonali became showstopper for Iglam held in December 2021, Kolkata.She also won Plus Size, Mrs World, in Le Devine, in January 2022, held at Delhi.& Sonali had recently appeared in the role of a jury member at Glam & Glory and DC India shows where she very intelligently selected all the contestants. Talking to the media, Sonali Roy tells that “ whatever position I am at today, my family is behind it, who played their role in encouraging me every moment. Sonali further told that my dream is to work for women and want to provide a platform to those who have talent in them to move forward but for one reason or the other they do not get a good platform.”
