Man arrested for threatening, swinging swords at Sikh temple in Canada

TORONTO: A 23-year-old man was arrested after allegedly making threats and aggressively swinging two giant swords inside a Sikh temple in Canada’s British Columbia province.

Officers responded to the disturbance throughout a night service contained in the Penticton Sikh Temple at 3290 South Most important Avenue final week, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) mentioned in an announcement.

Police mentioned one individual was taken into custody and launched later to attend Penticton Provincial Courtroom at a future date.

The temple launched an announcement, saying that it was “an unruly group of non-Society members contained in the temple”.
