Indian-American motel supervisor fatally punched in Oklahoma Metropolis car parking zone altercation

In a tragic incident in Oklahoma Metropolis, Hemant Mistry, a 59-year-old Indian-American motel supervisor from Gujarat, died after being punched by a person recognized as Richard Lewis. The altercation occurred on Saturday night time within the motel’s car parking zone close to Interstate 40 and Meridian Avenue when Mistry requested Lewis to go away the property.

Police had been known as to the scene round 10 pm. After being struck, Mistry misplaced consciousness and was taken to a hospital, the place he died at roughly 7:40 pm on Sunday (23).

 Lewis was later arrested at a resort on the 1900 block of S Meridian Avenue. He’s being held on a $100,000 bond on the Oklahoma County jail on an aggravated assault and battery grievance as of Monday (24).
