Ind vs Ban, 2nd Test Day-2: With the help of Pant-Iyer brilliant batting India took the lead of 87 runs

After taking an unbeatable lead 1-0 in the first test match against the host Bangladesh 2nd and final Test is being played at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. In this the game of second day of the 2nd and final match of the 2-match Test series between Bangladesh and India has been completed. On the first day Bangladesh was bowled out for just 227 runs in the first innings, in response to this Team India was able to score only 314 runs taking a lead of 87 runs.

Right until lunchtime, Bangladesh took 3 main wickets of Indian team. KL Rahul, the skipper and opener, failed once more and left the field after scoring only 10 runs. Cheteshwar Pujara and Shubman Gill were also dismissed at the same time, each having scored 24 and 20 runs. India had 86 runs after losing 3 wickets before lunch. Virat Kohli was dismissed with a score of 24 runs after lunch. Thereafter, Team India accumulated a lead of 87 runs thanks to the outstanding performance of Rishabh Pant (93) and Shreyas Iyer (87). Both, though, fell short of finishing the century.

Shakib Al Hasan performed admirably in the second Test despite not even being sold during the IPL auction. Taijul Islam and Shakib Al Hasan each got four wickets. On the first day, Bangladesh was bowled out for 227. For Bangladesh, Mominul Haque scored the most runs with 84. Ashwin and Umesh Yadav took four wickets each, and Unadkat got two wickets for the Indian squad. Until the end of day 2 Bangladesh were at 7/0.
