IAF CONTINUES RELIEF OPERATIONS IN FLOOD-AFFECTED STATES

  1. In light of the current flood crisis, the IAF has been actively engaging in humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations in the states of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. A total of 40 missions have been conducted over the past 48 hours, during which 126 individuals have been rescued and 17 tonnes of relief supplies have been provided in various locations.
  2. Significant efforts have been conducted in the past 24 hours to aid Haryana’s flood-affected areas. M-17 helicopters dropped rations, tarpaulins, fresh food, and water bottles to the villages of Nihara, Allaudin Majra, Bishangarh, Segta, Bhunni, Mumni, Segti, and Jansui.
  3. Air warriors and all necessary equipment, including M-17 and Chinook helicopters, An-32 transport planes, and C-130 transport aircraft, are ready to perform necessary operations.
