Former Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia’s judicial custody has been extended by the Delhi court till 12 May

the rouse avenue court in Delhi has extended the judicial custody of former Delhi deputy chief minister and AAP leader Manish Sisodia Thursday till 12 May in the CBI probing tax policy case.
in the case of corruption formulation and implementation of the now scrapped Delhi tax policy 2021-22 on February 26, Manish Sisodia was arrested by CBI. several rounds of questioning have been asked.
from then central probe agency on Wednesday told the high court that the now scrapped Delhi tax policy 2021-22 was manipulated to favor cartelization and monopolization in liquor trade in the national capital Delhi and former deputy cm Manish Sisodia and businessman Vijay Nair were the main plotter.
The CBI made the contention while opposing the bail plea of Sisodia who sought parity for him with other accused who have got relief and claimed that the senior AAP leader was not in a position to influence the witnesses in the case or tamper with evidence.
