Prayagraj: The father of the shooter who shot Atiq Ahmed from point-blank range in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj has given a statement about his son’s actions. According to the father, his son was angered by Atiq Ahmed’s behavior and decided to take matters into his own hands.

The shooter’s father said that Atiq Ahmed, a former MP, had been harassing his family for years. He claimed that Ahmed had taken over their property and was trying to evict them from their own home. The family had filed several complaints with the police, but no action had been taken.

On the day of the incident, the shooter’s father said that his son had received a call from Atiq Ahmed’s men, threatening to kill him and his family. This was the final straw for the shooter, who had had enough of Ahmed’s harassment. He took his gun and went to confront Ahmed.

When he reached Ahmed’s office, the shooter found him surrounded by his men. He fired a warning shot in the air, but Ahmed’s men attacked him. In self-defense, the shooter fired at Ahmed from point-blank range, killing him.

The shooter’s father said that his son had no intention of killing Ahmed, but was forced to do so in self-defense. He added that his son had been pushed to the brink by Ahmed’s constant harassment and threats.

The police have arrested the shooter and are investigating the incident. Meanwhile, Atiq Ahmed’s supporters have been protesting and demanding justice for their leader. The incident has sparked a debate about the state of law and order in Uttar Pradesh and the need for stronger action against powerful individuals who take the law into their own hands.
