Director Aanand L. Rai Expresses Gratitude on 12th Anniversary of ‘Tanu Weds Manu’

Mumbai : Director Aanand L. Rai expressed his gratitude to the audience for their love towards his film Tanu Weds Manu, which completed 12 years since its release. The director acknowledged the unmatched response that the beautiful story received and how it is still relatable to a wide audience even today. Rai expressed his disbelief that the film has already completed twelve years and thanked the audience for their love and support.

Tanu Weds Manu, which was produced by Aanand L. Rai and Colour Yellow Productions, also led to a sequel called Tanu Weds Manu Returns in 2015. Aanand L. Rai has recently ventured into regional cinema with his film Aatmapamphlet, which has received accolades and was screened at the Berlin Film Festival. Rai’s success in regional cinema has led to the announcement of the second instalment of Jhimma and the Taapsee Pannu-starrer Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba.
