Deadly Collision Between Truck and Bus on Pune-Bengaluru Highway

Mumbai: Several people have died and many have been injured in a tragic collision between a truck and a bus on the Pune-Bengaluru Highway in Maharashtra, India. The accident occurred early in the morning on April 23, 2023, causing a massive traffic jam on the highway.

According to reports, the truck was travelling at a high speed and collided with the bus near the Satara district of Maharashtra. The force of the impact caused both vehicles to overturn, and the bus was severely damaged in the collision.

Emergency services were immediately called to the scene of the accident, and a rescue operation was launched to extricate the passengers trapped inside the bus. The injured were rushed to nearby hospitals, and the authorities are yet to release an official statement on the number of casualties.

Eyewitnesses at the scene of the accident reported seeing several bodies lying on the road, and the rescue operation is said to have been challenging due to the severity of the damage caused to the bus.
