CBI nabs hospital worker for accepting bribe in J&K’s Sopore

SRINAGAR: Sleuths of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday arrested a hospital worker whereas accepting a bribe for issuing a date of start (DoB) certificates in J&K’s Sopore city.

CBI officers mentioned that its sleuths arrested Mehrajuddin Wani, an worker in control of the start part within the sub-divisional hospital Sopore, whereas demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 3, 600 from a father named Farooq Ahmad Misger for issuing his daughter’s DoB certificates.

“The daddy had approached the worker for issuing his DoB certificates for which the worker demanded and accepted Rs 3, 600 as bribe.

“The worker was arrested whereas accepting the bribe.

“Additional investigation is happening, ” officers mentioned.
