Bomb threat near residences of Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, and Mukesh Ambani in Mumbai

Mumbai : On Tuesday, an unknown caller claimed that bombs had been planted near the residences of Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, veteran actor Dharmendra, and industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s residence Antilia. The Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) received the phone call, and the Nagpur Police were immediately informed, who then relayed the information to the Mumbai Police. The Mumbai Police has launched an investigation and alerted local police in Juhu, Vile-Parle, and Gamdevi, under whose jurisdiction the three residences fall. The Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) teams are also expected to inspect the premises for any suspicious objects. The caller also claimed that 25 armed men had reached Dadar in Mumbai to carry out the terror attack. Officials are working to identify and trace the caller.

In related news, the Supreme Court has directed that the highest Z+ security cover be provided to Mukesh Ambani and his family across the country and while traveling abroad. The court has stated that the Ambanis will bear the entire cost of providing the highest level Z+ security cover.
