In China, coronavirus cases are constantly rising. The hazard of the corona has significantly grown in India as well due to the rising number of Corona cases in China. The Indian government has taken steps in response to the rise of Covid cases. The Indian Ministry of Health recently had a conference where several crucial decisions about Corona were made. Randeep Guleria, a former director of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), stated on Tuesday that although corona cases are rising quickly in China, there is no circumstance like China in India due to the high incidence of spontaneous infection and vaccination coverage.

At the moment, Dr. Randeep Guleria serves as Director at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram as well as Chairman of the Institute of Internal Medicine, Respiratory, and Sleep Medicine. In an interview, he stated that testing had decreased in India. People frequently skip getting checked for colds or fevers throughout the winter. If the Covid tests are conducted in this case, the mutation will be identified. Randeep Guleria stated that given the corona epidemic’s global peak, particularly in China and Italy, and the millions of covid cases that were emerging, we decided that it would be best to be more prepared to prevent this disaster.

In order to handle the situation, the lockdown was used in India during the early phases of the Corona outbreak. Even at this point, many individuals believed that the lockdown was unnecessary. But it also allowed us more time to plan and helped raise awareness among the masses. In order to handle the patients during this period, we changed the infrastructure and undertook other tasks. Compared to western nations, we have performed well as a result of all these factors.

According to him, when the pandemic first started, our population lacked the necessary immunity to fight the virus, which forced certain individuals to struggle with life-threatening infections. But now that the Corona epidemic has been finished for about 3 years, our population has a very high incidence of spontaneous infection and vaccination coverage. He said that because of our population’s increased immunity, no new virus can significantly harm us.
