Amaravati : A school teacher, P. Veera Babu (45), died of sudden cardiac arrest while teaching children at a government primary school in Vakavari Palem village of Vetapalem mandal in the Bapatla district of Andhra Pradesh on Saturday. The incident shocked the students, who were unable to accept the fact that their teacher, who was teaching them moments ago, was no longer with them. This is the latest in a string of cardiac arrest cases reported in the Telugu states in the last two weeks. In one instance, a 38-year-old man collapsed and died while playing badminton in Hyderabad, while a 19-year-old died while dancing at a wedding in the Nirmal district. These incidents highlight the importance of recognizing the symptoms of cardiac arrest and seeking immediate medical attention.
