New Delhi: The trailer of ‘Daayra’ is finally out, introducing Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran as two police officers caught on opposite sides of the same case. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film is an investigative crime drama inspired by true events.

The film also reunites Meghna Gulzar with Junglee Pictures. The filmmaker previously collaborated with the production house on acclaimed films Talvar and Raazi.

Daayra has been written by Meghna Gulzar, Sima Agarwal and Yash Keswani. Saurabh Goswami has handled the cinematography, while Charu Shree Roy is the editor.

The film is backed by Junglee Pictures and Pen Studios.
