Film Rating : ⭐⭐⭐ 3/5 Stars
Son of Sardar 2 is for comedy enthusiasts! This emoji 😃 is how my face was most of the time while watching this fulltoo punjabi movie!
Each character was interesting and unique in its own way.
Son of Sardaar 2 is an exhilarating mix of laughter, action, and heartfelt moments. It’s the ultimate family-friendly flick, perfect for fans of desi masala films or anyone looking to enjoy a fun day at the movies. Ajay Devgn shines once again, delivering a memorable performance in a film that’s not just big in scale but also rich in emotion.
First 40 mins or so is average and then starts the laugh riot beginning with the Border movie act. The girl gang is incredible, Mrunal is so very beautiful and likeable, Dobriyal stands out. Ajay just does what he does with ease and his usual swag. Ravi Kishan is a real surprise, really well done and ofcourse his 2 Brothers Vindu and Mukul Dev.
Positives: Massy Action Sequences: As expected, Ajay Devgn delivers powerful action mixed with slapstick humor.
Sikh Pride & Culture: The film stays rooted in Punjabi flavor, music, and larger-than-life characters.
Comic Timing: Some hilarious moments from Sanjay Dutt and the supporting cast make it a fun watch.
Negatives: Predictable Plot: The story doesn’t offer anything new—revenge, misunderstanding, family drama, all reused tropes.
Weak Female Roles: Parineeti Chopra and others have very limited screen time and impact.
Over-the-top Humor: Some jokes fall flat or feel outdated.
Music: A mix of bhangra beats, romantic tracks, and one item number. Only one or two songs stand out.
Story : Jassi (Ajay Devgn) returns to his village only to find an old feud reigniting between two families. A new enemy (played by Ammy Virk) threatens peace. The film is about how Jassi uses both muscles and madness to restore harmony, in full desi style.
I had some hopes from Son of Sardaar 2, especially considering the original had at least some entertainment value. But this sequel is a complete blockbuster honestly, a dose of comedy.
The movie tries too hard to be funny but its nailed it . The humor feels forced, outdated, and even cringeworthy in parts. The plot is all over the place — it doesn’t make much sense, lacks flow, and seems like it was written just to cash in on the original’s name.
The characters are exaggerated to a point where they become unbearable. There’s real development, and most of them feel like caricatures rather than people. Dialogues are strong, the action is over-the-top without any real impact, and the emotional moments feel completely memorable.
Son of Sardaar 2 is a fun, action-packed comedy where Ajay Devgn’s Jassi ends up in Scotland. Fans of the original will enjoy the blend of heart, humor, and energetic action. Full of masti, joy, emotions, acting. Ajay devgn always rocks. Mrunal refreshing. Full unit superb. Ajay is most clever at the part of script and film business, that’s why his all original and sequals become super hit. This one is also must watch entertainer.
Son of Sardaar 2 is a full-on entertainer! Ajay Devgn brings back his charm with great comic timing, Mrunal Thakur adds freshness, and the music is catchy. A perfect family masala movie with colorful visuals and nostalgic fun.
Get ready to laugh till your stomach hurts! With a perfect mix of Punjabi charm, family drama, and laugh-out-loud moments, this sequel is a joyride from start to finish.
Go and watch it with friends family and loved ones…simple story , sober narrative and smiling climax …especially of Rohit Shetty!
