Youth in Bengal’s Tarakeswar commits suicide after killing mom and sister

KOLKATA: In a surprising incident, a youth at Tarakeswar in Hooghly district of West Bengal dedicated suicide on Monday morning after killing his mom and elder sister.

As per preliminary police investigation, first the youth charred his mom and elder sister to demise and thereafter killed himself by hanging himself from the ceiling of a room of his residence.

The three deceased have been recognized as Bijoli Maiti (54), Sujata Maiti (31) and Subham Maiti. Their our bodies have been despatched for autopsy following which the precise causes of deaths might be ascertained.

The neighbours knowledgeable the police that on Monday morning they bought some burning odor emanating from inside the home whether or not the three deceased individuals used to reside.

On feeling inquisitive, among the neighbours banged the doorway door. However noone responded. Then the neighbours knowledgeable the native police station.

When the police broke open the door, they noticed the charred our bodies of the mom and daughter on the ground and the hanging physique of the son from the ceiling.

The police are but to make sure over the precise motive that may have prompted the son to take such an excessive form, the neighbours informed the investigating officers that monetary issues may have performed some position behind the incident.

That is the second such incident in West Bengal inside a span of lower than a month. On January 3, the cops recovered the decomposed our bodies of three members of a similar household from the closed flat close to Garia Station Highway on the southern outskirts of Kolkata.

The deceased individuals in that case have been an aged couple and their son. Investigation revealed that monetary prompted them to commit suicide.
