Ayushmann Khurrana Reveals How Ranbir Kapoor And Ranveer Singh’s Debut in Bollywood

Mumbai: Ayushmann Khurrana is one of the most versatile actors in the Bollywood film industry who has given back-to-back hits. In a recent interview, the actor opened up about his struggles and how he had to wait for several years before he made his debut in Bollywood.

The actor revealed that he started his journey in the entertainment industry in 2004 with Roadies, but it took him almost 10 years to make his Bollywood debut. During this period, Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh had already made their debut and established themselves as successful actors.

In the interview, Ayushmann said, “Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh had made their debuts by then and established themselves as successful actors. I had to wait for almost 10 years before making my debut with Vicky Donor. So, their debuts affected my career.”

Ayushmann Khurrana further added that he faced a lot of rejections during his initial years in the industry. However, he didn’t let the failures affect him and kept working hard. The actor’s persistence finally paid off when he got the lead role in the hit film Vicky Donor, which was also his debut movie.

Ayushmann Khurrana’s latest film ‘Doctor G’ has been announced and is currently in the pre-production stage. The actor is also set to star in Anubhav Sinha’s upcoming thriller ‘Anek’ and Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’.
