New Delhi: Pakistani actress Sehar Shinwari, who is known for her work in television dramas, recently demanded to file a complaint against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, she received a befitting reply from the Delhi Police, stating that they have no jurisdiction over the matter.

Shinwari had taken to Twitter to express her displeasure with Modi’s recent comments about the Afghan-Pakistan border. In a now-deleted tweet, she wrote, “I want to file a complaint against Modi for his insulting remarks. Pakistan is a sovereign state and should not be dragged into such controversies.”

The actress also shared a screenshot of Modi’s statement, which was widely criticized by Pakistani politicians and citizens.

However, the Delhi Police responded to her tweet, stating, “We appreciate your concern, but Delhi Police has no jurisdiction in this matter. Kindly approach the concerned authorities in Pakistan for further assistance.”

Shinwari’s tweet received mixed reactions from social media users, with some supporting her stance, while others criticized her for unnecessarily involving herself in a matter that does not concern her.

It is not the first time that Shinwari has made headlines for her comments on political matters. Earlier this year, she had praised Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan for his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, which drew criticism from some sections of society.

As of now, there has been no response from Shinwari regarding the Delhi Police’s reply to her tweet.
