Mumbai: Jaya Thakur, a simple Himachali girl from a joint family, has made her mark in the modeling industry. She completed her education in Mumbai and has been in the profession for the past three years.

Jaya’s childhood was filled with love and joy as she was the first child in her family of her generation. She was considered a princess by her parents, and her habits were said to resemble her father’s, while her looks resembled her mother’s. Her parents were particular about preserving their Pahadi culture and ensured that their child spoke the language at home. Jaya fondly remembers the summer vacations she spent with her family in Himachal Pradesh, where they created unforgettable memories.

Jaya’s defining moment came when she met her mentor, Miss Kamal Cheema, who changed her life. Inspired by the challenges that the modeling industry posed, Jaya pursued a career in it with her mentor’s guidance. Focusing on her target and giving her 100%, Jaya has achieved success in her field.

Her experiences have shaped her worldview and beliefs. Jaya was always a happy and fun-loving person, eager to help others and an easy-going personality. However, her profession has made her a little less carefree than before.

Jaya has faced many challenges in her career, one of which was her weight. Being overweight and a foodie, she had to lose weight to fit in the modeling industry, where fitness is essential. However, her hard work and dedication have paid off, and she is proud of all her achievements. Her proudest moments are when she receives awards and stands in front of her parents’ picture, knowing that they would have been proud of her.

Making difficult decisions has become easier for Jaya, thanks to her parents’ upbringing. She believes that if she is right, she takes her stand, and if any difficulties come her way, she faces them head-on.

Jaya’s relationships with others have taught her to give her 100% to the people who matter and not compromise on her self-respect. Her advice to anyone starting out in a similar path as hers is to believe in oneself, not give up, and remember that every problem has a solution.

Looking back, Jaya wishes that her parents were still with her as she misses them every day. She considers them her motivators, cheerleaders, inspirations, and the loves of her life.

For the future, Jaya plans to work even harder in her career and continue learning new things about it. She hopes to achieve more success and make her family and mentors proud.
