Mumbai: Mithoon, alongside singer Palak Muchhal, graced the stage as winners at the prestigious Indian Television Awards held at Filmcity, drawing enthusiastic cheers from devoted fans along the red carpet.

Acknowledging the global acclaim for his Gadar 2 tracks, Mithoon attributed the award to his wife, Palak. In turn, Palak dedicated her own special recognition to him, enchanting the audience with renditions of “Ghar Aaja Pardesi” from Gadar 2 and “Tum Hi Ho” from Aashiqui 2.

Expressing gratitude for the overwhelming love received for Gadar 2, Mithoon highlighted the exceptional lyrics penned by Saeed Quadri, crediting him alongside the late Anand Bakshi for the song’s success. He emphasized the weight of responsibility in recreating such iconic tracks and was elated to have lived up to the challenge. Reflecting on his earlier work in Aashiqui 2, he reiterated the magnitude of that musical journey.

Amidst his humble demeanor, Mithoon seized the musical moment to express his heartfelt appreciation for Palak, attributing his success to her unwavering support. “My accomplishments are inseparable from Palak; her presence is integral to my joy and achievements. ‘Because you are the one…'” Palak radiated with delight at the affectionate tribute.
