Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. have unveiled the concept Thar.e at it’s FutureScape event in Cape Town.

It will be developed grounds up to be an EV as part of the born electric range.

It won’t be an electric conversion of the ICE Thar.

The 5 door version of Mahindra Thar.e will also have a new Mahindra logo.

Thar.e has a futuristic design incorporating various square elements from the squarish headlamps to squared out wheel arches.

Coming to the interiors it will have 75 different sounds right from opening the door to different driving modes. Oscar winning Indian music composer A. R. Rahman will be composing all the sounds in the vehicle.

The interior have a minimalistic dashboard design with digital driver display, a large touchscreen infotainment display and a new steering wheel.

Moreover the model has a water hose inside to clean the cabin after off-roading.

The launch timeline has not yet been released by Mahindra.
