North Korean chief Kim Jong-un has urged the revision of the nation’s Structure to strengthen “the agency concept that the South Korea is their major foe and invariable principal enemy,” Yonhap Information Company reported. President Yoon Suk Yeol responded strongly to Kim’s hostile rhetoric, pledging to punish North Korea “a number of instances” if it provokes South Korea. In a speech delivered throughout a key parliamentary assembly on Monday, Kim introduced a departure from the decades-long coverage of searching for reconciliation and unification with South Korea, as reported by the Korean Central Information Company (KCNA). “In my view, we are able to specify in our Structure the problem of utterly occupying, subjugating and reclaiming the ROK and annex it as part of the territory of our Republic in case of a struggle breaks out on the Korean peninsula,” Kim acknowledged, utilizing the acronym for South Korea’s official title, the Republic of Korea.
