Team India is hosting a three-match T20 series against New Zealand under the captaincy of Hardik Pandya. Today India and NZ will play the 2nd match of this 3-match T20 series (Jan 29) after the loosing the first match at Ranchi. This game will start at 7.00 pm Indian time. The Indian squad just crushed NZ 3-0 at home in the three-match ODI series under the leadership of Rohit Sharma.

In the Indian playing 11 for the 2nd T20 encounter, some changes can be seen in the playing XI of team India due to the poor performance in the very first match. Captain Pandya can introduce an additional spinner into playing 11 in such a scenario. Washington Sundar will very certainly be given the opportunity after great effort with bowl and bat in the first game. While Kuldeep Yadav or Yuzvendra Chahal will both have a chance to be the second spinner. Kuldeep is more likely to earn a chance based on the past game’s performance. Along with this Hardik can also give a chance to Prithvi Shaw to open the inning due to wicked performance of both openers in last game.

Indian Team Probable Playing XI: Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan (wicketkeeper), Rahul Tripathi, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya (captain), Deepak Hooda, Washington Sundar, Shivam Mavi, Umran Malik, Arshdeep Singh and Kuldeep Yadav/Yuzvendra Chahal.
