Film Ratings : 4.5/5 Stars
Housefull5 is a laugh riot! A perfect blend of comedy, chaos, and clever twists—exactly what fans expect from the franchise. The ensemble cast delivers top-notch performances, making it a must-watch. Paisa vasool entertainment!
What a beautifully crafted movie. The comedy of Akshay kumar, his comic timing is just too good and I think he over-shines the rest of the star cast but I think Abhishek and Ritiesh have their own strong points. The female leads are also pretty good but of course Akshay just carries the movie on his backbone. The killer of both movies.
Housefull 5 is a pure mix of comedy plus thrilling aspects. This is easily the best film of the franchisee but it has some flaws as well. But overall the movie leaves you in splits with amazing comedy all the time. Akshay, Abhishek and Ritiesh take a bow. Impeccable chemistry these three have.

Plot Summary
The Housefull franchise is known for its over-the-top comedy, confusing identities, and chaotic situations—and Housefull 5 continues that tradition… maybe a bit too much this time.
This time, five couples, multiple mistaken identities, and a haunted palace (yes, really!) form the core of the plot. Like always, there’s a mix of slapstick humor, lavish sets, cheesy one-liners, and a whole lot of confusion. Akshay Kumar leads the chaos, joined by Riteish Deshmukh, and this time Abhishek Bachchan returns too.
What Works
• Akshay and Riteish’s timing: Their chemistry still brings some laughs.
• Visual comedy: Some physical gags are genuinely funny if you enjoy old-school humor.
• Grand sets and costumes: Visually, it’s rich and colorful.
What Doesn’t Work
• Too much confusion: The story tries too hard to be funny by mixing identities, which becomes exhausting instead of entertaining.
• Weak script: The writing feels outdated. Many jokes are forced or recycled from older films.
• Lack of originality: The franchise is clearly running on fumes now. It feels like they’re trying to stretch a thin idea into a two-hour film.
• Character overload: Too many characters, not enough screen time for most. You’ll forget who’s who.
Final Thoughts
Housefull 5 is for die-hard fans of the series who enjoy over-the-top chaos and don’t mind logic flying out the window. If you’re looking for clever comedy or a fresh story, this isn’t the movie for you.
Watch it with zero expectations and maybe a group of friends—then, maybe you’ll get a few laughs.
Verdict: A noisy comedy circus that has a few funny moments but overall feels outdated and overdone.Go watch with your family as this movie will entertain you for atleast 150 mins.I don’t wanna spoil but let me say, it is really unexpected and overall this movie gets a 4.5 stars from me. Definitely watch it in theaters near you.
