Tensions heightened in Manipur on Tuesday as an extra superintendant of police was kidnapped by cadres of Arambai Tenggol, Meitei group, in Imphal distrct. The Manipur police stated that Imphal East extra superintendent of police Amit Singh was later rescued after a swift motion by cops and safety forces.
