Facebook, the world’s largest social media platform, has announced a new subscription service for verified accounts that allows users to obtain a blue badge on their profiles. The blue badge is a symbol of authenticity and is typically reserved for public figures, celebrities, and brands.

The new subscription service, called Blue Badge Subscription, will allow eligible accounts to pay a monthly fee to maintain their verified status and access additional features that are not available to non-verified users. Some of these features include increased reach and visibility for their content, access to exclusive tools and analytics, and enhanced security features to protect their accounts.

To be eligible for the Blue Badge Subscription, accounts must already have a blue badge on their profile and meet Facebook’s verification criteria. These criteria include having a significant following and being in the public interest, among other requirements.

“We are excited to offer this new subscription service to our verified users, which will allow them to maintain their verified status and gain access to exclusive features on our platform,” said a spokesperson for Facebook. “We understand the importance of authenticity and transparency on our platform and are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all of our users.”

The subscription service will be rolled out gradually to eligible accounts in the coming weeks. Facebook has not yet announced the exact pricing for the Blue Badge Subscription, but it is expected to be in line with other subscription services offered by the platform.

The introduction of the Blue Badge Subscription is part of Facebook’s ongoing efforts to provide more tools and resources for verified accounts and to help them build and maintain their presence on the platform. With the new subscription service, verified users will have even more opportunities to connect with their followers and build their personal brands on Facebook.
